Why was LDS Link started?

I felt that Australia was under represented on the internet, when it comes to things LDS.  Although we share the same gospel - Australian LDS have a distinct culture from that of American LDS.  It is also a way to link Australian LDS with long lost friends, and to find contact details on people and businesses easily.

Do I need to be on the internet to list my business?

No.  You wouldn't want to list an e-mail address though unless one is regularly used.

Does it cost me anything to list my name or details on LDS Link?

No.

Are my personal details safe?

We believe so.  Your email address is not listed, to avoid junk e-mail.  We don't give your details to any other party.  Your phone numbers and address details are probably already on the internet anyway - look up yourself at www.whitepages.com.au

When was LDS Link started?

LDS Link was first published to the internet 1 November 2000, by Stewart Glass of Brisbane.

Can I advertise on LDS Link?

Why not.

Any questions or feedback that you have is welcome.

There is no way to e-mail my friend, why?

If you do a search and find a friend via the LDS Link Search page, and they have no e-mail (envelope) icon beside thier name, it means the e-mail address they had listed is no longer valid and has been removed from the database.  This happens in the bi-annual testing we do.  Tell them they may update it with us.
